Responsibilities
Carry out the necessary preparation of parts before and after the inspection
Evaluate and interpret parts for acceptance/rejection criteria
Conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standards
Guide and supervise trainees and Level 1 personnel
Stay current on the codes, standards, and contractual documents relating to the NDT processes performed at Premier Processing
Perform internal audits of Penetrant Process
Maintain clean work environment
Other duties may be assigned as requested by the supervisor
Qualification
Required
NDT-Level II Certification required
Minimum 400 hours experience in Liquid Penetrant Inspection
Knowledge of continuous improvement methods
Basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
Reliable and responsible
Attention to detail as well as work efficiently
Lift parts, equipment, and tools up to 50lbs
Work non-traditional hours, such as overtime, weekends and holidays
May require long periods of sitting and standing
