Responsibilities

Demonstrating curiosity and commitment to continuous learning
Taking ownership of tasks and proactively seeking improvement opportunities
Supporting or Leading Lean initiatives, training and continuous improvement activities
Contributing to the design of efficient layouts and material flows to optimize productivity
Developing standards and work instructions to ensure consistency in production processes
Conducting problem investigations, cause analysis, implementation, and follow-up
Conducting problem investigations, root cause analysis, solution implementation, and follow-up
Assisting with the set-up of production lines and processes, including hands-on activities
Collaborating with manufacturing, contractors, and suppliers from project implementation
Performs other work as advised by Supervision

Qualification

Lean principlesEngineering drawings interpretationAutoCAD knowledgeManufacturing experienceSAP knowledgeBasic computer skillsBasic shop mathElectrical assembly knowledgeMechanical assembly knowledgeVerbal communicationProblem solving

Required

2+ years in a manufacturing facility
Familiarity with basic Lean principles (i.e. 6S, 7 Waste, Kaizen, Problem Solving)
Proficient in basic shop math, tools, and equipment
Strong Verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly and confidently convey information to different audiences
Basic computer skills including Microsoft office
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics
Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English Language
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred

Two-year technical degree or equivalent
4+ years supporting manufacturing in a tech role
Experience in safely operating powered industrial vehicles
Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD or similar software applications
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical assembly processes
SAP Knowledge
