Business Analyst
PriceSenz is seeking an experienced Business Analyst Level 3 to support a large-scale automation initiative within a healthcare and social services environment. The role focuses on analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, supporting Agile delivery teams, and ensuring successful system enhancements through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Responsibilities
Analyze business policies, procedures, and workflows to assess system impacts
Gather, validate, and document complex business and functional requirements
Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows, and technical documentation
Review and approve vendor-developed system and user requirements
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
Support Agile teams by prioritizing and managing product backlogs
Develop and execute test plans, test scenarios, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Track, document, and report testing results and project status
Identify project risks and issues and recommend mitigation strategies
Prepare and maintain project documentation including charters, design documents, and reports
Participate in SDLC activities from planning through implementation
Support training development and conduct training sessions as needed
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
Strong experience in complex business analysis and technical documentation
Proven ability to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Experience reporting project status, risks, issues, and key decisions to leadership
Experience reviewing and approving complex system requirements
Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and user story prioritization
Experience creating and executing detailed test cases and test plans
Familiarity with test management tools
Experience with Microsoft tools (Teams, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
Experience with healthcare or Medicaid-related systems and processes
Must be a current Texas resident
Position is primarily remote (5 days remote, subject to change)
Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required
Background check required
Travel, parking, and related expenses are the responsibility of the worker/vendor
Preferred
Knowledge of Medicaid programs and healthcare service workflows
Experience with long-term care or eligibility systems
Familiarity with large-scale government or public-sector IT projects
