Responsibilities

Understand the full revenue cycle of the Company – from contract signing, billing effective date, rates and terms
Responsible for directing and owning the monthly processes surrounding revenue and billing by the financial operations team
Collaborate well with various departments to ensure revenue is accurate and complete - this includes Legal, Data Engineering, Client Management Leads and Integration Teams
Lead the billing and revenue accounting efforts for the integration of new products and services, ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition, including operationalization and month-end close procedures
Review supporting files for billing and ensure accuracy and integrity of data
Review the monthly revenue and COS analytics and other ad-hoc analysis for review
Work closely with the Controller on implementing changes to the billing process in order to make it more efficient
Review revenue related account reconciliations and journal entries for month-end close
Responsible for overseeing two direct reports

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus
7-10 years of Revenue Cycle Management or Revenue Operations experience with an understanding of ASC 606
Strong understanding of billing and financial processes and the impact to general ledger
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership capabilities with hands on mentorship
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams

Preferred

Prior experience in Healthtech or Tech Industry is preferred
Experience working with Netsuite and Floqast is a plus
Hands-on experience with modern billing systems (CRM, CPQ, billing platforms) and integration with ERP systems
