Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document system requirements
Analyze existing systems and processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
Translate business requirements into clear FRDs, SRS documents, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Work with cross-functional Agile teams to refine the product backlog and support sprint planning
Facilitate requirements discussions, timeline estimations, and impact assessments
Support QA teams by ensuring test cases trace back to requirements and assisting with test planning
Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle
Assist in solution design and provide recommendations based on system capability and best practices
Support change management, implementation activities, and post-deployment validation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
4+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in an Agile environment
Demonstrated experience writing FRDs, SRS, and other formal requirements documentation
Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum frameworks, and requirements-management best practices
Ability to analyze complex systems, identify impacts, and propose effective solutions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels
Proficiency with requirements and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
Preferred
Experience with workflow modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)
Background in systems integration, APIs, or data analysis
Familiarity with UML, BPMN, or similar modeling standards
Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government, etc.)
