Responsibilities

Provide reception duties in the Scheduling office. Answer phone calls timely and respond according to need. Triage phone calls to appropriate scheduler or staff member

Schedule procedures and patient visits using the computerized scheduling system, in accordance with the scheduling rules and guidelines written by the Scheduling Policy Committee

Maintain the clinical privilege notebook in collaboration with the office of Medical Staff Affairs

Monitor, validate, and record all incoming scheduling faxes on a daily basis

Monitor and record daily tracking sheets

Qualification

Medical TerminologyComputer SkillsTyping 45 WPMOrganizational SkillsAttention to Detail

Required

High school plus specialized, short-term training in Medical Terminology

Solid computer skills required with the ability to type 45 WPM
