Responsibilities
Interpret blueprints, sketches, or client concepts to build custom plastic assemblies and equipment
Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOP) in relation to operations/organization of work flow
Use hand tools and traditional woodworking and welding techniques to manufacture plastic devices
Ensure a high standard of craftsmanship, finishing, and durability in all projects
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times
Use various hand and power tools and equipment, such as band saws, drill press, pipe benders, etc
Qualification
Required
HS Diploma or GED equivalent, at 18 years of age
Due to the nature of the work and compliance with safety protocols/regulations, fluency in English (reading and writing) is required
Able to work 6:00am - 2:30pm
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and understand dimensional drawings and specifications, bill of materials and job order requirements
Experience using various hand and power tools and equipment, such as band saws, drill press, etc
Ability to follow work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOP) in relation to operations/organization of work flow
Attention to detail
Preferred
Finished carpentry, welding or similar experience is helpful
