Inside Higher Ed is a leading source for news and information about higher education. They are seeking a Fiscal Assistant II who will be responsible for establishing suppliers in the myUFL accounting system, monitoring supplier communications, and ensuring timely supplier payments.

Responsibilities

Timely and accurately establishes suppliers in the myUFL accounting system. Initiates contact with suppliers to ensure the information provided is accurate and complete and verifies suppliers' banking information. Processes requested corrections, departmental verifications, international supplier requests, wireless device allowances, etc. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the myUFL supplier file system and the Supplier Portals

Monitors the Supplier Helpdesk phones and MyMarketplace supplier emails to answer all questions and help resolve issues. Walks suppliers through the Supplier Portals. Works closely with the entire Disbursements team to ensure timely supplier payment. Offers support in resolving issues with payments, vouchers or invoices. Collaborates with Procurement, UFIT, and the myUF Marketplace team to resolve supplier sync issues and communicates ideas that have potential to make processes more efficient
