Responsibilities
Partner with a cross-functional engineering team to build scalable, modern web applications that support business objectives
Define and enforce best practices for high-quality, maintainable, and performant code
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers, fostering continuous improvement
Design, implement, and manage Contentful CMS data models, content structures, and configurations
Develop responsive, user-friendly, and visually polished front-end interfaces
Own technical solutions end to end, from design through delivery
Act as a subject matter expert for CMS technologies, driving innovation and optimization
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in front-end development and content management solutions
Hands-on experience with Contentful APIs, administration, apps, and integrations
Strong proficiency in React.js, with working knowledge of Next.js and TypeScript
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Front-end development: 7 years (Required)
Content management systems: 5 years (Required)
RESTful API: 7 years (Required)
GraphQL: 7 years (Required)
Ability to Commute: Newark, CA 94560 (Required)
Work Location: In person
Preferred
Solid understanding of the end-to-end content lifecycle, including authoring, preview, publishing, and deployment
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling frameworks such as Sass or Tailwind CSS
Experience integrating GraphQL and REST APIs
Familiarity with Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices
Proven experience building high-performance, responsive single-page applications
Knowledge of accessibility standards, SEO best practices, and cross-browser compatibility
Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
Detail-oriented, proactive, and motivated to learn new technologies
