Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities
Ensuring business processes, administration, and financial controls
Reviewing financial reports and preparing financial forecasts
Monitoring financial details to ensure legal compliance
Customer billing and accounts receivable
Invoice processing
Order fulfillment
Customer/financial systems related functions
Developing and using complex database and spreadsheet applications
Mining, problem-solving, analyzing and interpreting quantitative data from enterprise systems
General ledger entries, report processing and writing
Working cooperatively and communicating with a variety of groups or individuals in order to analyze revenue and expense streams and report financial data
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in an applicable field such as Business, Accounting, or other related field from an accredited four-year college or university
Strong communication, interpersonal, written, verbal, and team skills
Strong analytical and project management skills
Ability to work on projects in a timely manner
Experience and proficiency with MS Office products
Valid driver's license
Preferred
One or more (1+) years of experience in accounting or related field
Advanced degree in business or accounting
Knowledge in the utility industry
Ability to demonstrate competencies such as strong analytical skills, leadership, coaching, and teamwork skills
