Start in 2026 Summer10x Genomics is committed to accelerating our understanding of biology, and they are seeking a Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering Intern to join their Manufacturing Systems Engineering department for the Summer of 2026. The intern will study material flow and handling for instrument production and execute improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency.

Responsibilities
Study the material flow and handling of all of the parts for the Xenium instrument production process and find areas for improvement
Execute on the improvements to make the manufacturing flow and handling for efficient production
Collaborate with the warehouse team, manufacturing, MSE, and procurement to optimize material flow for instruments
Qualification
Required
Current student who has completed at least their second year of undergraduate degree. Ideally Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering
Able to commit to a full-time internship program for 10-12 weeks during summer of 2026
Good written and verbal communication skills
Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
