RandM/System Safety Engineer (ESI 0174)
Eagle Systems is a company providing support to NAWCAD, and they are seeking a RandM/System Safety Engineer. The role involves developing and evaluating Prognostics and Health Management (PHM) and Reliability and Maintainability (RandM) program plans for Naval Aviation aircraft and support systems, along with performing various analyses to support system reliability improvements.

Responsibilities
Provides direct support to NAWCAD by developing and evaluating Prognostics and Health Management (PHM) and Reliability and Maintainability (RandM) program plans and requirements for Naval Aviation aircraft and support systems
Performs PHM and RandM analyses to support predictions, allocations, risk assessments, and metrics/data development, including Fault Detection and Isolation (FDI), testability analyses, FMEA/FMECA, and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs)
Supports the development and implementation of platform health management capabilities and reviews Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to assess PHM impacts
Participates in Reliability Control Boards (RCBs), Failure Review Boards (FRBs), BIT Review Boards (BRBs), and software and hardware design improvement activities
Reviews OEM and supplier deliverables, collects and analyzes on- and off-board PHM data, and supports FRACAS population and analysis to inform organic health management solutions and system reliability improvements
Qualification
Required
Requires a BS degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, aeronautics, or electronics and at least three (3) years of engineering (RandM or System Safety related) or relevant PHM experience to include testing and evaluating health management systems
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to use Microsoft 365 (i.e., Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams) are required
Must have the ability to Travel an estimated 6 times per year
Must have experience in DoD and/or NAVAIR program activities
Must have an active Top Secret level DoD security clearance and be able to work in Government classified spaces
Preferred
Highly desired experience/knowledge areas: CBM+, Integrated Diagnostics, FRACAS, statistical methods, algorithm development, health management data analysis, drafting and developing health monitoring data processing procedures within classified and unclassified environments, MBSE/Cameo Systems Modeler/Digital engineering, and measuring/tracking reliability in Developmental and Operational Testing (DT/OT)
