Responsibilities
Create programs for Mazak Integrex
Create and maintain programs using MasterCam
Work with personnel to troubleshoot any problems with process and techniques
Develop Set-Up Instructions and tooling list
Design and develop fixtures and work holding
Implement processes from start to finish on new jobs related to Lathe/Mill department
Contributes to the creation of job routings
Develop in-process sketches, to reflect the manufacturing process
Establish an effective and efficient work sequence
Design and develop assembly fixtures and masking details
Meet quoted cycle time for the new products
Prepare time studies
Evaluate and support continuous improvement activities
Assist engineering department as required or needed
Interpret and apply customer specifications
Interface with equipment manufacturer, operations, maintenance, safety, and quality
Educate or train operators in proper machining techniques
Duties as requested, subject to all local, state and federal laws
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 10 years of shop experience
Ability to use all typical inspection equipment
Computer literate in MS word, excel, and outlook
Strong machining and CAD/CAM background required
Manufacturing experience in the aerospace field
Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various machines
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Must be able to communicate in English
