Responsibilities

The Accreditation Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating all accreditation and certification activities for Joint Communications
This position oversees compliance with the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies’ (CALEA) Communications Accreditation, International Academies of Emergency Dispatch’s (IAED) Accredited Center of Excellence (ACE), and APCO’s Agency Training Program Certification (ATPC)
The Accreditation Specialist ensures policies, procedures, directives, and training programs align with national standards and industry best practices

Qualification

Accreditation standardsProgram coordinationPublic safety experienceAdministrative experience

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Three (3) or more years progressively responsible experience in an administrative or program coordinator position
Must have and maintain a valid Missouri driver's license

Preferred

Previous experience in public safety environment
Previous experience working with accreditation standards
