Responsibilities
Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or suspicious behavior
Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences within the commercial real estate location
Work collaboratively with property management, tenants, and visitors to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner as directed by Allied Universal and site management
Qualification
Required
A minimum of two years of security-related experience is required
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
