Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership for a key hub warehouse with the potential of additional regional warehouse sites, ensuring alignment with Exol’s goals and operational objectives
Assume full responsibility for the P&L of site and/or multiple sites within the region
Drive the execution of best practices in warehousing, logistics, and supply chain management across all locations
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operations managers and their direct reports across multiple locations
Develop and implement long-term operational strategies to improve performance, optimize resource allocation, and drive growth in alignment with Exol's national goals
Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and compliance standards across all sites
Oversee vendor relationships and manage procurement for all sites
Oversee the integration and optimization of automated systems and warehouse technologies to ensure operational efficiency and cost savings
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
Regularly monitor and report on operational performance, financial results, and KPIs to the executive team
Lead the company’s efforts in sustainable logistics practices across all sites
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in operations management within the logistics, warehousing, or supply chain industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple sites or regions
Proven track record of managing large teams and full P&L responsibility
Proven ability to lead and inspire large teams across multiple locations
Strong strategic vision, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
Extensive experience in managing P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and driving financial performance
Ability to analyze financial reports and implement corrective actions to optimize site profitability
Expertise in managing both conventional and automated warehouse operations
In-depth knowledge of WMS, material handling systems, supply chain logistics, and inventory management
Strong project management skills with a proven ability to lead large, complex initiatives and meet deadlines within budget
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong ability to negotiate with vendors and manage supplier relationships
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and warehouse management software (WMS)
A passion for sustainability and environmentally conscious practices in logistics
Results-oriented, with a proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Preferred
A Master's degree or MBA
PMP or similar certifications are a plus
Experience in overseeing warehouse automation technologies and integrating them into traditional operations for efficiency gains
Familiarity with advanced logistics and automation tools is a plus
