Responsibilities

Update views weekly using SQL for appeal code tracking and analysis
Build and maintain audience segmentation queries in Snowflake for direct mail, email, social media, and text campaigns
Assist in data validation for campaigns, including verifying donor records within Salesforce Ascend
Investigate and troubleshoot data issues by analyzing query logic and applying problem-solving skills
Document query logic and maintain clear workflows for repeatable processes

Required

Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
Solid understanding of relational database concepts and ability to write SQL queries involving joins, CTEs, and conditional filtering
Comfortable troubleshooting query results and explaining logic clearly
Ability to format and organize large datasets in Excel for AB testing and campaign requests while maintaining data integrity
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
Applicants must be a current UVA undergraduate or graduate student eligible for student employment and work study
