Business Development Associate
Catalyst Construction is one of the fastest growing Construction Management firms in Southeastern Wisconsin. The Business Development Associate will develop and foster new relationships to enhance the company's visibility and strengthen its market position in South Dakota through strategic partnerships and community engagement.

Responsibilities
Build relationships with brokers, developers, nonprofit leaders, faith-based organizations, building managers, architects, and municipal leaders to grow Catalyst’s visibility and brand recognition within the South Dakota market
Implement Catalyst’s South Dakota Marketing Plan through targeted relationship development and event participation
Manage lead generation in coordination with company policies and coordinate with the Director of Sales & Marketing and outside consultants for RFP development and content creation
Contribute to corporate marketing strategy through new ideas, insight, and initiatives
Deliver high-quality leads through business networking and relationship building with future stakeholders and investors
Become a trusted partner to our clients by leading the construction process from inception to groundbreaking including fundraising, financing, architecture and consultant selection
Collaborate with Corporate Marketing Department to communicate Catalyst’s message through content creation, email marketing, mailings, phone calls and personal visits
Monitor and report regularly on the progress of project development to Catalyst leadership. Metrics include quarterly leads generated, conversion rates and pipeline status
Work closely with all company team members as needed to ensure successful client engagement and satisfaction
Collaborate with the Preconstruction Department to ensure timely delivery of budgets and bids to acquire work
Represent Catalyst at networking events, trade shows, fund raisers, galas, community events and promotional conferences. Actively drive Catalyst participation in communities and events
Manage sales leads from initial prospect through construction groundbreaking
Develop strategies to meet annual sales expectations
Maintain accurate and timely CRM reporting of contacts, leads, projects, outreach, and pipeline status
Attend meetings and trainings as assigned
Complete all other projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience in client relationship management and sales
Experience cultivating client relationships over time
Proven success interacting with prospective clients and securing new projects
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Demonstrates high level of Emotional Intelligence and a team first mindset
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
Ability to effectively manage time, multi-task, and pay close attention to details
Self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation
Regularly required to move, sit, and bend for various hours throughout the day
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in business administration is preferred, but not required
