Assistant AR Manager
Responsibilities
Manage the full billing process, including setup, invoicing, credits, and re-billing
Ensure invoices match customer contracts and agreed rates
Review billing data for accuracy and correct timing
Research and resolve billing disputes with internal teams
Support collections with aging reviews and customer statements
Help reduce past-due balances and resolve disputes faster
Oversee cash application and reduce unapplied cash
Perform AR reconciliations and AR-to-GL tie-outs
Support month-end close and revenue-related entries
Maintain documentation for audits and internal controls
Prepare basic AR reports such as aging and dispute tracking
Identify opportunities to improve billing and AR processes
Qualification
Required
4-7+ years of experience in AR, billing, or accounting
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar experience
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
