Senior User Experience (UX) Designer
Seneca Technologies, part of the Seneca Nation Group, is seeking a User Experience (UX) Designer to support a program with the Department of the Treasury. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to create user-friendly interfaces while ensuring usability and accessibility across digital platforms.

Responsibilities
Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. This may involve interviews, surveys, and usability testing
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that translate user needs into intuitive and engaging user experiences
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals
Perform usability tests on design and iterate based on user feedback to improve the overall user experience
Maintain design documentation, including user flows, personas, and design specifications, to communicate design decisions effectively to stakeholders
Produce high-quality solutions through flow diagrams, graphic designs, storyboards and site maps
Provide guidance on the implementation of UX research techniques and testing activities to assess user behavior
Qualification
Required
Experience with an appropriate toolset for the design of web applications
Use resources effectively and efficiently to get work completed in a fast-paced environment
US Citizen and able to pass security clearances as required for Government contracts
Minimum 3 years of professional architecture experience in AWS
Ability to present and lead customers through process flows and design layouts
Familiarity with source control processes such as Git, work item management, branch management, and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge and experience with professional web-design principles and practices
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Familiarity with modern web frameworks such as React, Vue.js, and/or Angular
Experience with estimating software solutions and assessing project risk
Experience with Agile development processes
