The State of Missouri is seeking an Application Tech Support professional to assist the ITSD-DMH in managing technical support inquiries and triaging application issues. The role involves monitoring issues, troubleshooting errors, and collaborating with business owners and team members to resolve a variety of technical problems.

Responsibilities

Monitor multiple methods of issue reporting (Cherwell, emails & webex chats, etc.)
Analyze tickets and direct users to the most appropriate solution
Write T-SQL queries to identify and resolve data-related issues
Analyze, code, test and implement software updates
Review and follow technical documentation related to a wide range of issues and processes
Direct interaction and advisement of DMH Business users
Coordinating and consulting with other team members to complete work as needed
Periodic review and update of documentation related to issue resolution and various processes
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills required
Excellent customer support and communication (oral and written) skills required
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple issues simultaneously

Required

Authorization to work in the United States is a prerequisite of employment
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills required
Excellent customer support and communication (oral and written) skills required
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple issues simultaneously
Software development training is required
Successful background check results are required for employment in this position
Knowledge of the core programming language used in the assigned area
Knowledge of computer logic statements and their applications
Ability to learn and apply concepts
Ability to perform basic mathematics
Ability to provide logical and innovative ideas and think critically to resolve issues
Ability to communicate with staff, management, and agency personnel

Preferred

Experience with MS SQL query writing
Experience with MS Visual Studio
Experience with Azure DevOps
Familiar with Agile development concept
