Aerospace Engineering - SOE Undergraduate Student Teaching Fellow
Inside Higher Ed is seeking Undergraduate Teaching Fellows at the University of Kansas to support faculty instructors in undergraduate engineering courses. The role involves engaging with students, guiding their learning, and facilitating help sessions outside regular class periods.

Responsibilities
Help faculty administer activities such as group work, problem-solving, etc. for improving student learning and engagement in key engineering courses
Enhance student learning by interacting with students during the class period by guiding students to maximize concept mastery
Qualification
Required
Must have taken the specified course or an equivalent class and earned at least a ‘B' in the course
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated mastery of course content
The job requires physical presence in the class (approximately 3 hours/week for a 3 credit course) and 2.5 hours/week outside of the class. Must be able to attend the class assigned to be UGTF for
Preferred
Teaching/Tutoring/Grading experience in a university/college setting
Earned an ‘A' in course
