Responsibilities
Provide expert legal advice to the organization
Oversee compliance with labor and employment laws
Ensure data privacy and security
Manage corporate governance responsibilities
Identify and mitigate legal risks
Prepare and review contracts
Support leadership with key business decisions from a legal perspective
Qualification
Required
Comprehensive knowledge of legal issues, including regulatory compliance, contract law, and risk management
Expertise in labor and employment law, including policies, disputes, and compliance
Strong competency in providing legal advice and drafting contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
Experience with data privacy and security laws, including compliance with relevant regulations
Proficiency in corporate governance, covering board matters, policies, and ethics standards
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Demonstrated ability to communicate legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership
Preferred
Experience in advising clients or organizations in the media, education, or digital marketing sectors is a plus
