Responsibilities

Consultant and Trouble-Shoot • Broad knowledge of the capabilities and operating characteristics of: personal computers including Windows and Apple machines; mainstream word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, and productivity software; mobile devices (including iOS and Android); personal computer peripherals
General knowledge of TCP /IP networking
Ability to configure TCP /IP settings
Communication • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for ongoing contacts and dependable, timely follow-up
Ability to organize and set priorities
Ability to work independently and to maintain a smooth work flow despite frequent interruptions
Ability to lead workshops and meetings
Ability to teach groups how to use tools and to solve problems
Ability to build substantial personal knowledge based on research into computing questions and awareness of technology developments
Ability to interact professionally and calmly when working with frustrated end-users
Demonstrates professionalism and collegiality through actions, interactions, and communications with others appropriate to an environment that is welcoming to all
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience
Four years of relevant experience in a personal computer environment
Broad knowledge of the capabilities and operating characteristics of: personal computers including Windows and Apple machines; mainstream word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, and productivity software; mobile devices (including iOS and Android); personal computer peripherals
General knowledge of TCP /IP networking
Ability to configure TCP /IP settings
