Mid LevelDowntown Asset Mgmt PLLC is building an open-source stablecoin that bridges traditional banking with privacy and enhanced returns. They are seeking Volunteer DevOps Engineers to help design, deploy, and maintain the infrastructure for this innovative financial system.
Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain code for an open-source stablecoin system
Modify and adapt a World Bank carbon clearinghouse platform to operate as a private-bank-like system, where assets are backed by: Cash, Bonds, Real estate
Implement CI/CD pipelines
Support system reliability, monitoring, and scalability for financial-grade workloads
Collaborate with protocol, finance, and legal contributors to ensure infrastructure aligns with regulatory and operational requirements
Assist with integrating mathematical and financial model hacks and formulas, which are already built and ready for implementation
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, etc.)
CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
Security-first mindset, especially for financial or regulated systems
Preferred
Experience with fintech, banking, or payment systems
Familiarity with blockchain or distributed ledger infrastructure
Knowledge of carbon markets, asset tokenization, and clearing systems
Prior open-source leadership or maintainer experience
