Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical and structural systems using Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Advance Steel
Create detailed schematics and drafting documents to support system design
Collaborate with sales and project teams to ensure design specifications meet client requirements
Apply mechanical engineering principles and ASME codes to ensure compliance and functionality
Conduct technical writing for project documentation and reports, while adhering to OSHA safety standards
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in the use of parametric solid modeling software (Inventor preferred), AutoCAD, and Vault
5 years experience in mechanical and/or structural design
Understanding of steel fabrication practices
Familiarity with OSHA design requirements
Self-starter that demonstrates initiative
Ability to manage multiple projects and stay organized
Must be fluent in English and must have excellent communication skills
Preferred
Experience in the scrap industry and/or material handling
