Responsibilities
Support supplier audits to verify compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and applicable regulatory requirements
Manage supplier onboarding and approval processes
Develop, maintain, and oversee supplier quality agreements and inspection plans
Monitor supplier performance metrics (e.g., defect rates, delivery adherence) and implement corrective actions (CAPA, SCAR)
Partner with procurement, engineering, and operations teams to resolve supplier-related quality issues
Provide technical guidance and training to suppliers on quality standards and best practices
Drive initiatives to reduce defects and improve supplier processes
Utilize root cause analysis and risk management tools to prevent recurrence of issues
Maintain accurate records of audits, performance reviews, and compliance reports
Prepare periodic supplier scorecards and quality dashboards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biology, Quality Management, or related field
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Supplier Quality Professional
Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
3–5 years in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or similar role
Knowledge of ISO standards, FDA regulations (if applicable), statistical process control (SPC), and quality tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP)
Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
