Responsibilities

Execute the full weekly payroll cycle for roughly 30 employees using Construction Manager software. You will be the sole owner of this process, ensuring 100% accuracy and punctuality

Manage all payroll tax filings and the precise calculation of union dues. You will ensure we remain in full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Apply your knowledge of labor allocations and project-based payroll nuances to support accurate job costing

Take charge of the accounts payable inbox, processing 30–50 invoices weekly. This includes coding, verifying approvals, and managing vendor relationships to ensure timely disbursements

Assist with accounts receivable functions to maintain healthy liquid capital

Conduct month-end outreach to clients regarding outstanding balances. We value a 'friendly but firm' approach that secures payment while protecting our long-standing industry reputation

Required

At least 1-3 years experience in a Senior Accountant or Bookkeeping role where payroll processing was a core daily function
