Responsibilities
Report changes in the resident’s condition to the physician, Care Coordinator, and family on a timely basis. Document any changes to the resident’s medical record and communicate them to the next shift
Document accurately and concisely
Collaborate effectively with all other disciplines in meeting the needs of the residents
Directs the ongoing care of the residents daily during the assigned shift
Supervises and/or delegates appropriately to the LPN medication/treatment nurse, CMAs, CNA, and Health Unit Coordinators (HUCs)
Assesses the condition of the resident accurately and collaborates with the RN and Care Coordinator as indicated
Physically and mentally responds to emergency situations; able to initiate and delegate CPR
Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and assesses the effectiveness of these
Effectively handles and reports emergencies, accidents, incidents, and complaints
Accurately receives, interprets, and transcribes Physician orders
Qualification
Required
Current LPN license or temporary permit for practice in the state of North Dakota
