Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns
Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents as required by site protocols
Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and on-site staff to address security-related needs
Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits as directed by site guidelines
Qualification
Required
At least one year of security-related experience is required
Must be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
