10x Genomics is dedicated to accelerating our understanding of biology, and they are seeking a Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering Intern for the Summer of 2026. This internship offers hands-on experience in supporting the launch of a manufacturing line by working with R&D, developing work instructions, and implementing manufacturing processes.

Create Work instructions

Author test methods and processes

Design, build and validate text fixtures

Train operators and develop test methods and assembly instructions

Implement 5S strategies onto the manufacturing floor

Qualification

Required

Current student who has completed at least their second year of undergraduate degree, ideally Mechanical, Software, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering

Hands-on experience fabricating or wiring electro-mechanical assemblies

Able to commit to a full-time internship program for 10-12 weeks during summer of 2026

Good written and verbal communication skills

Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges

Preferred

CAD software experience highly desired (Solidworks Preferred)
