Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations when appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unwanted activity
Monitor and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns encountered during patrols within the tech, media, and telecom environment
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and vendors to address security-related inquiries and provide assistance as needed
Document observations, incidents, and/or activities according to Allied Universal protocols
Qualification
Required
At least 2 years of security-related experience is required
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Lifting up to 20 pounds is preferred
Access control or badge experience is preferred
Alarm panel experience is preferred
