Senior LevelX4 Engineering is working with an oil and gas operator seeking a Senior Landman based in Midland, Texas. This role will support both acquisitions and operations, with a strong emphasis on execution following asset acquisition.

Responsibilities
Supporting acquisitions through title review, due diligence, negotiations, and deal execution
Managing land operations post-acquisition, including title, curative, lease obligations, and contract administration
Negotiating and maintaining surface use agreements and rights-of-way
Supporting drilling, development, and production activities in coordination with operations and legal teams
Identifying and resolving land, title, and contractual issues impacting operations
Managing third-party land vendors and maintaining accurate land records
Qualification
Required
Senior-level land experience within an operated E&P environment
Strong mix of acquisition and operational land experience
Solid understanding of title, curative, surface agreements, and regulatory requirements
Texas & New Mexico experience
Based in or willing to relocate to Midland, TX
