Planet DDS is a leading provider of cloud-based solutions for dental businesses. They are seeking a Product Designer to create intuitive user experiences across their SaaS products, collaborating with product managers and developers to enhance workflows and design processes.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers and developers to design intuitive workflows from problem definition through polished UI
Build and refine prototypes in Figma, using design system components to deliver consistent, high-quality work
Help define our design process and improve cross-team collaboration
Conduct or participate in usability testing, research, and synthesis to understand real user pain points
Present and explain your work to stakeholders in ways that build confidence and alignment
Contribute to the evolution of our design system, component libraries, and visual language

Qualification

Required

2-4 years of product design experience, ideally in SaaS or complex software environments
A portfolio that shows process, systems thinking, and attention to detail
Strong grasp of UX patterns, accessibility best practices, and responsive UI design
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

Experience with B2B or multi-tenant SaaS platforms
Familiarity with component-based front-end development (React, Storybook, etc.)
Background in user research or behavioral psychology
Experience with AI-enhanced design workflows or prototyping tools
