Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support cloud-based contact center solutions using Amazon Connect and core AWS services
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for automated cloud resource provisioning
Build, deploy, and optimize applications and integrations using Python (preferred) or Java within the AWS ecosystem
Engineer and manage Amazon Connect environments, including IAM, Amazon Lex, AWS Lambda, KMS, S3, and Kinesis
Create, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Jules , and manage code repositories with Git/Bitbucket
Rapidly prototype proof-of-concept (POC) solutions and scale them into production-ready systems
Design, implement, and support RESTful APIs for contact center integrations and automation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient voice solutions
Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure engineering, automation, and data fluency
Support container orchestration and deployment within AWS cloud environments
Apply best practices for data security, compliance, call recording, and regulatory requirements in telephony and contact center platforms
Stay current with AWS certifications and emerging cloud technologies
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect in production environments
5+ years of overall IT / Cloud Engineering experience, with 3+ years of hands-on experience working specifically with Amazon Connect and AWS services
Strong experience with AWS cloud services and architecture
Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code concepts
Experience with Python or Java development
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control systems
Experience with REST APIs and cloud integrations
Ability to work onsite in Plano, TX on a full-time basis
Preferred
Experience with container technologies (Docker, ECS, EKS)
Familiarity with contact center operations and telephony platforms
AWS certifications (Associate or Professional) preferred
