Responsibilities
Assist in the development, maintenance, and support of AS/400 (IBM iSeries) applications
Write, debug, test, and document RPG code
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the AS/400 platform
Participate in training sessions to master AS/400
Provide day-to-day support and serve as a backup for the IT Manager as needed
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and contribute to technical solutions
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
5+ years of IT experience
Experience with midrange AS/400 systems and operations
Experience developing code using RPG
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and partner information
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals
Ability to quickly build relationships with internal customers
Preferred
Prior experience in Manufacturing, Distribution or Automotive environment
