Account Executive - Automotive and Product Cybersecurity
Block Harbor Cybersecurity is seeking an Account Executive focused on Automotive and Product Cybersecurity. This full-cycle sales role involves prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals while building relationships with customers in the automotive sector.
Responsibilities
Hunt relentlessly: Prospect into product manufacturers and suppliers to generate qualified opportunities
Own the full cycle: From first call to signed contract, you own the deal
Build relationships: Develop trusted advisor relationships with engineering, cybersecurity, and compliance leaders
Navigate complexity: Manage 2-6 month sales cycles with technical buyers and compliance-driven purchase processes
Collaborate: Work closely with our technical team to scope projects and deliver winning proposals
Report and forecast: Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in CRM
Qualification
Required
1-2 years of B2B sales experience with demonstrated ability to hunt and close new business
Track record of hitting or exceeding quota
Comfort navigating technical sales conversations
Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and accountability
Based in or willing to relocate to Detroit metro area
Willingness to hit the road frequently to be in front of customers
Preferred
Exposure to automotive industry (OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, mobility)
Exposure to other ground vehicle industries
Familiarity with cybersecurity, compliance, or engineering services sales
Experience with complex, consultative sales cycles
