System Admin I - Ops and Security

Responsibilities

Support and maintain corporate IT systems including routers, firewalls, servers, phone systems, access control, security systems, and end-user devices
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system, network, and user issues for on-site and remote employees
Perform daily system monitoring to verify integrity, availability, and performance of hardware, servers, and applications
Review system and application logs and respond to alerts or anomalies
Apply patches, updates, and upgrades to systems and administrative tools; configure and deploy new services as required (including after-hours maintenance when necessary)
Perform system imaging and configuration for servers, laptops, desktops, and deliverable hardware used on customer programs
Procure IT equipment including computers, networking hardware, and supporting systems
Maintain accurate documentation for system configurations, procedures, inventories, and network architecture
Actively monitor and assist in responding to cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities
Support Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) compliance activities for DoD programs
Assist with compliance audits, internal assessments, and risk identification efforts
Support creation and maintenance of cybersecurity documentation including policies, procedures, system security plans (SSPs), and training materials
Collaborate with leadership and external partners as required to support compliance objectives
Support the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and leadership with security-related documentation and compliance activities
Assist with NISPOM-related processes, training records, and access coordination as assigned
Participate in facility security reviews, audits, or inspections when required
Opportunity to grow into expanded Facility Security responsibilities with training and mentorship

Required
