Responsibilities

Lead and perform circuit card design lifecycle activities including requirements capture, schematic capture, design documentation, signal integrity analysis, creation of board stackup and routing instructions, coordination and review of printed wiring board layout, creation of test plans, root cause analysis, and integration. Designs will include the use of FPGA, processors, and DDR memory components, and industry interfaces, such as Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART
Serve as a hands-on technical authority and apply advanced technical principles to design and optimize complex electrical systems, including high-speed digital circuit designs that can overcome the complex challenges of signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) to ensure reliable performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, firmware, and mechanical engineers, to develop proven hardware designs that meet system performance and operational specifications
Test and troubleshoot electronic circuitry. Includes support lab of design verification testing for circuit card assemblies
Perform trade studies as needed and select components necessary to implement the requirements. Includes supporting system architecture discussions where needed
Mentor others in personal technical growth and may lead small teams to success with schedule, budget, and technical execution
