Responsibilities
Produce and oversee Design Documents (DDs) in AutoCAD for multiple high-end residential projects simultaneously
Maintain and improve drafting standards, templates and details
Translate approved schematic designs into complete technical drawings
Perform internal quality control prior to Design Director review
Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure documents align with scope and procurement needs
Identify technical issues early and propose solutions
Train junior designers/drafters in drafting standards and documentation best practices
Maintain detailed documentation, drawing sets, and presentation files
Ensure quality control through consistent and professional communication, follow-up and follow-through
Anticipate next steps and proactively problem-solve to uphold project excellence
Represent the firm’s values and professionalism in every interaction
Qualification
Required
8+ years experience in residential interior architecture or interior design
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
Expert-level Proficiency in AutoCAD
Strong experience with custom millwork, cabinetry, lighting plans and interior detailing
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
Comfortable working under a high design and quality bar
Strong written and verbal interior design vernacular and communication abilities
Demonstrated initiative with a solutions-oriented mindset
Professional, polished, and reliable demeanor
Capable of managing competing priorities with precision and composure
Thrives in a collaborative team environment and embraces accountability
