Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure solutions across a wide range of client environments
Work with Windows Server, virtualization platforms, networking technologies, and cloud-integrated systems
Help clients modernize and secure their IT operations

Required

3–5+ years of hands-on IT experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or MSP support roles
Demonstrated career progression or long-term growth within a single organization
Strong experience deploying, configuring, and managing Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022)
Working knowledge of at least one major virtualization platform: VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Citrix, Nutanix, Proxmox
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies
Experience with Group Policy (GPO) creation, management, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, or similar)
Ability to document environments, follow change management processes, and communicate clearly with clients
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in fast-paced MSP environments

Preferred

Industry certifications such as: CCNA, CompTIA Network+, LPIC, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800), MCSE (legacy but valued)
Experience with VoIP systems (SIP, hosted PBX, QoS configuration)
Exposure to automation or scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
Hands-on experience with cloud or hybrid environments (Azure AD, M365, identity management)
Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, Datto, etc.)
Demonstrated use of home lab environments for learning, testing, or deploying: Windows Server, Virtualization stacks, Networking labs, Automation workflows
MSP experience supporting multiple clients and diverse environments
Strong customer service mindset and the ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly language
