Talent Acquisition Specialist

Responsibilities
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, role requirements, timelines, and selection criteria
Manage high-volume requisitions across multiple sites and roles simultaneously
Source candidates using job boards (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, etc.), ATS databases, referrals, social media, and proactive outreach
Create, post, and optimize job descriptions to attract qualified candidates
Screen applicants through phone interviews, resume reviews, and qualification assessments
Maintain consistent candidate pipelines to support ongoing and future hiring needs
Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
Provide guidance on candidate selection and hiring decisions
Maintain clear, timely communication with candidates throughout the interview process
Ensure a professional, inclusive, and positive candidate experience
Prepare and extend verbal and written offer letters
Initiate and track background checks and pre-employment screenings
Coordinate onboarding documentation, new hire paperwork, and system entry
Ensure all pre-hire requirements are completed accurately and on time
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the ATS, including interview notes and hiring documentation
Ensure recruiting and hiring practices comply with company policies and applicable employment laws
Track recruiting activity, hiring progress, and time-to-fill metrics
Continuously improve recruiting workflows and processes to support efficiency and scalability
Support recruitment events, job fairs, and community outreach initiatives
Contribute to employer branding and sourcing strategies to strengthen talent pipelines
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the hiring process
Partner with leadership to anticipate staffing trends and long-term workforce needs
Qualification
Required
1–2 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or a related role
Experience with full-cycle recruiting, preferably in a high-volume environment
Strong sourcing skills using job boards, ATS platforms, and proactive outreach methods
Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Coach-ability and openness to feedback, with a willingness to learn and improve
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
