Program Specialist Supervisor

Responsibilities

Responsible for the training, development and quality assurance of Community Homes staff to ensure compliance with Community Homes licensing regulations, all other applicable local, state and federal regulations, and Agency policies and procedures
Responsible for the direct supervision of Program Specialists to oversee the development of Individual Support Plans (ISP), Restrictive Procedure Plans, Social Emotional Environmental Plans, Fade Plans and Desensitization Plans and the financial management of individual accounts
Being an advocate for the adults with special needs or intellectual / developmental disabilities occurs during meetings with the families, counties, and Supports Coordinators

Qualification

Required

Master's degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1 year of experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or autism
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or autism
60 credit hours from an accredited college or university plus 4 years' experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities or autism
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to articulate information to a diverse audience
Must secure and maintain training requirements for Crisis Prevention Intervention within three months of hire
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Must possess a valid driver's license which legally permits operating a motor vehicle in Pennsylvania and the ability to travel for business utilizing personal vehicle

Preferred

Two (2) years' of Supervisory experience
