Responsibilities
Overseeing housing-related services in Dallas, specifically the DHA and Housing Forward programs, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with contractual obligations, and alignment with AHF’s mission to support housing stability
Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to monitor deliverables, maintain audit readiness, and ensure accurate documentation of services
Providing guidance, training, and resources to staff
Assessing performance through regular meetings
Implementing solutions to address challenges
Fostering collaboration and maintaining strong oversight
Empowering the team to deliver high-quality housing support and help clients achieve long-term housing stability
Enhancing the reputation of AHF by collaborating with leadership to oversee housing program operations in Dallas
Ensuring compliance with standards set by the Dallas Housing Authority and Housing Forward
Focusing on meeting contract expectations, monitoring deliverables, and maintaining audit readiness
Conducting performance reviews
Ensuring that housing programs operate efficiently and effectively
Supporting AHF’s mission to help clients achieve housing stability and improve overall program outcomes
Hiring, training and overseeing staff supporting clients enrolled in AHF’s project-based and scattered-site Permanent Supportive Housing programs
Ensuring that team members understand DHA and Housing Forward intake, recertification, and exit processes
Guiding staff on accurate documentation of client interactions
Maintaining updated care plans
Developing a resource database to support individualized services
Directing staff in coordinating with service providers for referrals
Connecting clients to behavioral health, medical, and social supports
Identifying opportunities for formal partnerships through memorandums of understanding
Qualification
Required
BS/BA in Social Work, or other social service field
two (2) years of direct service delivery
Familiarity with housing case management
Familiarity with housing systems and procedures
