Responsibilities

Command the room in internal and external meetings
Be decisive in ambiguous situations and critical moments
Be masterful in engaging in healthy debates both internally and externally to ensure you are doing what's right for the business or what's right for the agency
Keep the team engaged, happy, and motivated through the most challenging tasks
Change any conversation from negative to positive
Be passionate about every project so it trickles through to the entire team
Set the business vision for the account and manage agency operations and finance to deliver those goals
Understand what it takes to deliver organic growth and proactively look for opportunities
Lead the development of SOWs and staffing plans, working closely with finance partners internally and externally

Required

8-14+ years of experience in account management
Experience operating at the Account Director level in the social space
Strong relationship management skills with day-to-day clients
Ability to manage day-to-day operations of accounts
Broad understanding of client business problems and objectives
Ability to contribute to the quality and effectiveness of strategy
Champion creative excellence
Ability to connect culture, content, and context for growth opportunities
Command of the business and the room in meetings
Decisive in ambiguous situations and critical moments
Mastery of debate and engaging in healthy debates
Ability to motivate and keep the team engaged and happy
Fiscal responsibility for managing agency operations and finance
Ability to set business vision for accounts and deliver organic growth
Lead development of SOWs and staffing plans

Preferred

Experience from an agency that specializes in social or has led a social offering
Excitement about working on fast-paced clients and the social category
Eager to grow a discipline and capable of scaling the social offering
Collaborative mindset and ability to connect across disciplines
