$16/hr - $18/hrVector Talent Solutions is a local manufacturing plant seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day facility upkeep. This role focuses on basic maintenance, light repairs, and janitorial duties to help maintain a clean, safe, and functional work environment.
Staffing & Recruiting
Responsibilities
Perform basic building maintenance tasks (minor repairs, adjustments, light troubleshooting)
Complete routine janitorial duties including:
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming
Trash and recycling removal
Restroom and breakroom cleaning
Assist with simple repairs such as:
Replacing light bulbs
Hanging signage or fixtures
Basic painting or touch-ups
Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance issues
Assist with moving furniture, equipment, or supplies as needed
Support general facility organization and cleanliness
Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
Travel between Grand Junction and Fruita facilities as required
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED preferred
Basic hand-tool knowledge or willingness to learn
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the workday
Preferred
Previous maintenance or janitorial experience a plus, but not required
