Responsibilities
Supervise, train, and lead a dedicated team of Project Managers and Technicians
Lead investigative surveys of roofing, glazing, and waterproofing components to identify deterioration and water infiltration. Generate and review comprehensive reports with technical recommendations and cost estimates
Review drawings and specifications for new construction projects via redline markups. Lead the generation of building envelope plans, elevations, and details, and coordinate technical specifications
Lead high-level meetings with clients to discuss peer review comments and project expectations, providing critical follow-up documentation
Direct bid-phase assistance (pre-bid meetings/minutes) and provide full construction supervision, including progress meetings, site visits, and observation reports
Lead teams in performing field testing related to the building envelope and present expectations and results to project stakeholders
Attend company-funded educational seminars to maintain your status as an industry expert
Qualification
Required
Professional Engineer (P.E.)
IIBEC Registered Roof Consultant (RRC)
IIBEC Registered Exterior Wall Consultant (REWC)
IIBEC Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC)
A minimum of ten (10) years of dedicated building envelope consulting experience
A track record of acting as the primary point of contact for new construction peer reviews and serving as the lead designer for roof replacements and window/wall repair projects
Extensive experience actively providing high-quality construction phase project management services on both new construction and sophisticated repair projects
A 4-year Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering, Engineering, or a Construction-related field
High proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/PowerPoint)
