Systems Test Engineer (ONSITE)
Collins Aerospace is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry. They are seeking a Systems Test Engineer to support the Global Positioning System (GPS)-Based Positioning, Navigation and Timing Service (GPNTS) program, where the engineer will perform system administration, troubleshoot issues, and develop test procedures for military GPS-based systems.

Responsibilities
Perform System Administration for multiple network-based systems
Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network problems
Develop and conduct test procedures to validate military GPS-based systems
Work with Mechanical, Electrical, and Software engineers to resolve issues
Communicate with leads and teammates on daily tasks to provide team status, accomplishments, issues, and help needed
Develop system and subsystem requirements for complex systems by collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to obtain necessary information for design, integration, and troubleshooting
Qualification
Required
Experience or knowledge on TCP/IP networking & switches/routers, basic electronic circuitry, and software scripting language
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
Preferred
Experience evaluating and mitigating technical risks
Experience with the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements definition, analysis, decomposition, systems integration, verification, and validation
Experience with reviewing technical drawings and requirements
Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS)
Familiar with Agile concepts and the Atlassian tool suite (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Competence in peer review processes and configuration/change management
Familiar with military systems; tactics, techniques, and procedures
Active and transferable U.S. government-issued SECRET security clearance
