This role is focused on hands-on execution of I&C commissioning tasks, including loop checks, functional testing, troubleshooting, and system verification using established procedures and check sheets.

Responsibilities
Execute loop checks, functional testing, and commissioning activities for instrumentation and control systems
Perform hands-on troubleshooting of field instruments, control loops, and Siemens T3000-based control systems
Coordinate daily I&C activities with contractors, vendors, and commissioning personnel
Support punch list identification and closeout related to I&C systems
Verify proper installation, calibration, and operation of instrumentation in accordance with project procedures and safety standards
Communicate daily progress, issues, and resolutions to the Commissioning Manager
Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork throughout all commissioning activities
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated, hands-on experience with Siemens T3000 control systems required
Proven background as a Lead or Senior I&C Technician supporting gas turbine power generation projects
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, field-driven commissioning environment
Strong technical experience in I&C commissioning, startup, or maintenance within power generation or related industrial facilities
Proven experience performing loop checks, functional testing, and field troubleshooting
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and commissioning documentation
Comfortable working in a field-based role with extended hours during commissioning activities
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, easy-to-work-with approach
5+ years of hands-on I&C experience supporting power generation projects
Preferred
Prior experience working with Siemens 5000F / F-class gas turbines preferred
Prior lead or senior-level I&C technician experience preferred
Technical training or formal education in instrumentation, controls, or electrical systems preferred but not required
