Phaxis is seeking a Compliance Risk Assessment Project Manager to support enterprise AML and financial crimes risk assessments through data-driven, technology-enabled solutions. This role partners closely with Compliance, Risk, and IT to translate AML regulatory requirements into scalable systems, analytics, and reporting.

Responsibilities

Lead AML risk assessment initiatives, including inherent risk, control effectiveness, and residual risk analysis

Translate AML and regulatory requirements into technical specifications and data models

Drive implementation of automated AML risk assessment and reporting solutions using structured data sources

Partner with AML Compliance, IT, Risk, and vendors to define scope, requirements, and delivery timelines

Use SQL to query, analyze, and validate data supporting AML risk assessments and reporting

Support enhancements to AML systems, including transaction monitoring, case management, and surveillance tools

Manage project documentation, timelines, and deliverables using JIRA and Confluence

Ensure solutions align with AML regulatory expectations and internal governance standards
